Warning!
Before starting the upgrade, make sure that:
- The instrument data is backed-up.
- The batteries are fully charged.
- The upgrading procedure is not interrupted in any way.
As failing to do so, may cause the instrument to malfunction.
Step 1
- Connect a PC to the instrument with a serial cable.
- Select the COM port to which serial cable is connected to.
- If connected, disconnect the charger.
- On instrument hold down UP and MEM keys and turn ON the instrument (or connect charger).
(Display will start to flicker)
- Press CONTINUE button on the PC-SW.
- Wait until the instrument's firmware is updated.
