The housing volume has been almost halved, whilst retaining the same output power. The compact design allows a high installation density in the smallest possible space. This reduces the required space in the charging station.
Flexibility, thanks to multi-voltage function
Another new feature is the multi-voltage function, which allows a wide range of different batteries (24V, 48V, 80V – and 36V, 72V, 96V and 120V) to be charged with just one BELATRON charger. This ensures greater flexibility in optimizing charging processes.

Longer battery service life due to uniform frequency of use
Particularly in cross-shift operation, the frequency of use of the individual drive batteries varies greatly. Batteries that are less accessible are used less frequently. Over time, the number of charge-discharge cycles varies more and more between the individual batteries.
With each charge-discharge cycle, the battery temperature rises. Batteries without sufficient cooling phases run the risk of excessive battery temperatures, which significantly reduce the service life of the traction batteries.
The Next Battery Selector Dynamic ensures that all batteries are used evenly. The temperature rise is reduced because the rest periods which are distributed over all batteries lead to cooling after the end of the charging process. This extends battery life and contributes to sustainable resource use.
